Scott McCormick
Chief Innovation Officer
Scott McCormick brings Orbis Education more than twelve years experience developing education and training solutions, including the past six spent exclusively managing e-learning creation and delivery. In his role with Orbis, Scott has been the project manager for the online course development process, including the utilization of more than a dozen subject matter experts, instructional designers, and web programmers. In addition, Scott is responsible for new product development, the project management, information technology, and the instruction design group.
Scott joined the Orbis Education in May 2005, after previously serving as Director of Certification and Training for CEDIA in Indianapolis. In that capacity, he designed, documented and managed training development and delivery used by more than 3,000 users. Prior to that, Scott was a Project Manager and Instructional Designer at Telcordia Technologies in Lisle, Illinois, where he lead projects for many organizations, including McDonalds, AT&T Wireless, SBC, and Frontier Communications. Scott is also a Certified Project Management Professional and regularly teaches project management courses.
